Bio:

Vox Le Monde had very little direction as a child despite his parents being around and grew up with the streets as his de facto parents. He got into crime at an early age and was somewhat successful in the lower ranks of a group of thieves and would likely have ended up a rogue when it was discovered he had an extremely high aptitude for the arcane arts. He was enrolled (for his own good, naturally) in a prestigious magical institution which had the net effect of making him a better criminal and he became the leader of a small pack of thugs and things were going great until someone got killed and when the authorities came in to investigate he sold out his second in command, Black Francis, an expert in the martial realm. Black Francis ended up doing hard time while Vox got off relatively easy, being assigned to compulsory military service. Although he had the skills to be exceptional in the armed forces, Vox made a lousy soldier and soon was back to petty theft and thuggery within the ranks and so was kicked out and was given a decree that he should be banished from his homeland until such time as he redeemed himself of his negative role on society. And so Vox hopped on the next caravan leaving his homeland, not caring where it was headed. And now he is on the way to Blackwatch and getting to know his new ‘family’.

Oh and the magic staff? Stolen of course, his last act of ‘allegiance’ to the army…

Vox would do well with a true challenge, as he hasn’t seen much of that in his life so far and is a bit bored and jaded, perhaps this adventure in a new land is just what he needs.
